HortEx Vietnam was first successfully launched in 2018. Over the past five editions (includes one digital edition), from 2018-2024 the exhibition attracted nearly 900 companies and welcomed over 25.000 trade visitors from Vietnam and abroad. For the coming years a further growth is expected.

As of 2025 HortEx Vietnam will be co-located next to Agritechnica Asia in an annual cycle, alternating between Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Bangkok (Thailand), starting in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 followed by Bangkok in 2026.

Agritechnica Asia is a spin-off of Agritechnica in Germany, the world's leading agricultural machinery exhibition held biennially in Hanover (Germany) organized by DLG (German Agricultural Society).
